Alert Ready to conduct national test tomorrow in most provinces, territories

On Nov. 15, a national test of the Alert Ready system is taking place in participating provinces and territories.

For this test, Alert Ready is conducting two surveys.

Accessible Emergency Alerts Survey: To help Alert Ready improve the accessibility and effectiveness of emergency alerts for all Canadians, specifically Canadians with disabilities, Accessible Technology Attainable is conducting a survey to identify challenges faced by individuals with disabilities when interacting with emergency alerts.

Survey participants must be residing in Canada, being 18 years of age or older, and identifying as a person with a disability.

General Public Survey: To help Alert Ready improve the Alert Ready system overall, a third-party partner is also conducting a short survey about the test.
