DEM working group launches survey to identify baseline competencies, capabilities

A working group co-chaired by the Canadian Risk and Hazards Network (CRHNet) and the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM) Canada is looking to develop a proposal for a baseline competency framework specific to the Canadian context.

As part of this work, the Disaster & Emergency Management National Core Competency Working Group (CCWG) has launched a survey to help understand the identity of practitioners, paths to practice, and other needs that can be considered as part of any recommendations.
