Community Disaster Response Ontario has expanded its operations across the country, renaming to Canadian Disaster Response Organization (CDRO).
The federally incorporated not-for-profit and non-governmental organization now serves across Canada, available for deployment to assist the nation, provinces, regions, counties, municipalities and Indigenous communities in all aspects of emergency management.
“The capabilities and capacities of Canada’s emergency management and response will be enhanced through co-ordination, collaboration, and co-operation with CDRO working with existing government and non-governmental organizations across the nation,” CDRO said in an announcement today.
“Our subject matter experts are available to assist prior to an emergency with the prevention, mitigation and preparedness phases and continue with the response and recovery phases,” CDRO said.
