Saskatchewan Government Insurance, Canadian insurance company wholly owned by the Saskatchewan government, was unable to pay a dividend to the province for the first time in more than a decade.
CBC News reports that the company listed frequent “catastrophic weather events” among the main challenges it faced in the last fiscal year, which led to a “modest financial performance” compared to earlier years.
